When Granny visited at Christmas she brought a great supply of Smarties (the UK/Canadian kind a little like M&M's) with her. Eoin loves them and can almost say Smartie now. We've taken the attitude of a little bit of candy or sugar doesn't really hurt anyone but he must eat some 'proper' food first and so far this seems to be working.
