This morning we ventured up to San Francisco and the zoo. Andy is traveling this week and so we wanted to get some special family time in before he is gone for the week. The weather was sunny and warm and so all the animals were out. We decided to become members of the zoo as we're sure we ill be back many more times!
We arrived just as it opened and it felt like we had the place to ourselves. We let Eoin decide what to see and what route to take which was fun but a little chaotic. His favorite seemed to be the flamingos (he was very worried about where the other leg had gone) and the monkeys. But a fun morning became even more fun when the little steam train started to run. Eoin would have spent all day sitting on the train waving to everyone. We had a few tears when we had to leave the train but we eventually made it back to the car and Eoin was alseep before we had even exited the parking lot!
