It was great to have Andy back safe and sound from his work trip and what made it even better was that it was a holiday weekend - yippee!We started our weekend by looking at some new neighborhoods that we might like to move too. We really liked Sunnyvale. It has tons of parks and good schools. So the hunt is one for a great house for us all.
In the afternoon on Sunday we headed down route 1 and went strawberry picking. Eoin had a great time looking under all the leaves for strawberries. The strawberries are always extra yummy when they are just a little warm from the sun and straight of the plant.
On Monday morning we headed back over the hills to one of Eoin's favorite spots - Niles Canyon Railway. On this occasion they had a steam engine running. Eoin was fascinated by the engine but I think he found the train whistle just a little too loud.
We finished our weekend off at our local park and we had fun as a family playing soccer and zipping down the slides.
